The inaugural Awards were hosted on Wednesday 30th April, with an evening of celebration of best practice and excellence in leadership.

The DBA Awards offer a range of award categories that showcase the best from government and industry in a way that reflects the depth of impact that digital transformation and data maturity can have on our precincts, infrastructure and cities.​

Commendation: Cumberland City Council for its Smart Places Strategy and Action Plan, delivering practical, community-driven digital initiatives that strengthen inclusion and innovation.

Commendation: The City of Parramatta for its Smart City and Innovation Strategy, which sets a 10-year vision for a mature, data-led, and sustainable smart city.
